Is it also possible for this scenerio??

laptop with 1 PCMCIA slot.

1 Wifi PC-Card (netgear ma401)
1 Eth card (3com 3x589 10mbit)

I usually have to take in/out the PC-Card to accomodate
when I go for Wifi/home(where I use the eth card along with the
build in eth for Home-net sharing)

Since I plug the card in and out, I have to reconfigure them each time.
Since both uses eth1 as their naming convention.

Can I also use this method to assign eth1 to my wifi and eth2 to the 3com??

I'm using 2.6.3 kernel on RH9
