Follow the trouble-shooting instructions at www.rpm.org, e.g. an
"rpm -vv --rebuilddb" might help already. But depending on how much damage
has been done to your RPM database (or your system in general) you might
face more errors. It is my experience that people with a corrupted RPM
database very often find a bad RAM module upon inspecting their system for
stability.
