I've got and patched vmware using vmware-any-any-update50.gz Now, I'm getting errors during bootup saying that vmmon : module license 'unspecified' taints kernel vmnet : module license 'unspecified' taints kernel I know we used to get it when I was running 2.4 series but it never did come up and clutter up the screen during bootup. If you were to look at /var/log/messages, it will come up, just not during the rc.sysinit/bootup. It's cluttering up my nice boot-up sequence and I don't like it. Not serious. Just not eye-candy.. any experience in solving this? Cheers, .^.
