Also, I would remove 'auto' from the line in fstab.
.. it seems that I can't even mount that flash mobile disk. It is different to what I had with Mandrake 9.1 earlier. In fact, here it is what I got when tried to mount that device:
[root@server misko]# mount -t auto /dev/sda1 /mnt/removable mount: /dev/sda1 is not a valid block device [root@server misko]# mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/removable mount: /dev/sda1 is not a valid block device
(under Mandrake 9.1 it worked with vfat)
On the other side I tried to make it with /etc/fstab:
/dev/sda1 /mnt/removable vfat noauto,owner 0 0
but that also does not work. What to try next?
