Hi,

What is the default location used for? Because every time I compile my kernel, I must copt /usr/src/linux-xxx/arch/i386/boot/bzImage and /usr/src/linux-xxx/System.map to /boot manually. When I found the difference between /boot/config-xxx and /usr/src/linux-xxx/.config, i just copied the .config to /boot and rename it as /boot/config-xxx, the system can not loaded at all?! So that is why I asked the function of /boot/config-xxx. Is there any options in make for me to customized the kernel and copy everything to /boot automatically?

Thanks
ping
