i've been tryin from past 10 days to download and install redhat 9 just bcoz my previous discs got corrupt and after burning the disc2 iso image and checking it during the media-check test during installation it always fails .....i dont know why ...many of my friends are facing the same problem...no problems with mine. have you tried getting the disc from a different source? www.linuxiso.org is where i usually get mine.
is this a common problem???
even if i go ahead with the installation it fails at the follwong files
1)xsri
2)xpdf
3)xscreensaver
even if i try customising the installation it then fails at some point in disc3 at NIS daemon etc.
