Re: time synch between two systems: HOWTO?

jdow, thanks on the step-tickers; it provided the sanity 
break desperately needed.

For some installations, what time the system thinks it is
(and how accurate that thought) is less important than
having all systems think it is the same time.

This is not a defect. It is an absolute necessity. If all the systems
are peers then they'll go wandering off after each other and never
reach any form of equilibrium.
