That sounds pretty reasonable then. Each of these methods logs all mail that passes through a sendmail server. Since sendmail doesn't distinguish between ain inbound or outgoing email the logging simply captures everything. You could post process the log to get only outbound mail. The first method is to modify sendmail to include logall.c in the checkcompat() (http://www.netsys.com/library/sendmail/logall.c) function. Another method would be to use the archive feature of an anti-spam tool like MailScanner. Found in MailScanner.conf man page ----- Mail archiving and monitoring Archive Mail Default: Space-separated list of any combination of 1. email addresses to which mail should be forwarded, 2. directory names where you want mail to be stored, 3. file names to which mail will be appended. -- Shrike-list mailing list Shrike-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/shrike-list
