Is it supported under RHL? The HCL only lists the 5000/6000 series, and only lists them up to RHL 8.0.
I'm afraid I cannot comment directly. I have a 7500-12 with PATA drives and it works gorgeously.
However, it is my understanding that the 8500 line is also fully supported.
