kernel-source.2.4.20-8.rpm in RPMS kernel.2.4.20-8.src.rpm in SRPMS
Okay, what you want is the "kernel.2.4.20-8.src.rpm" which is the Source RPM
file. Hang on.. it's a different version.. Yours' is 20-6, the one in
redhat is 20-8. Nope.. can't do.. How did you install RH? from CDs? Did you
upgrade your kernel before?? YOu will have to search through your source,
either CDs or somewhere...
No!!! (sorry) You want the kernel-source RPM. This is a copy of the kernel sources so that you can build the driver against them. If you installed off the CDs then you can get the kernel-source RPM from one of those. Installing .src.rpm will put a bunch of files in /usr/src/redhat and they're of no use to you.
