Add wireless adapter

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello, Hats:

After unplugging the cat5 utp cable from the PCI ethernet adapter, I
installed a D-Link AirPlus DWL-520+ Wireless PCI card adapter in my P4 -
2.4 GHz machine. Windows XP Home Ed. recognized it and installed the
driver.

I am writing this message in Windows because RH9 doesn't recognize the
new hardware. I am running the latest stable kernel.

I tried to configure it using the new hardware tool in RH9. The
manufacturer is in the list of choices, but the model number is not.
Trying to configure it as "unknown" fails.

What's the next step?

Regards,

Glenn
