I've managed to change lots of EMACS options, but can't find anything to make the mouse pointer maintain itself as an upward left pointing arrow. Sometimes the pointer changes to a hand. Coupled with the foreground and background colors I've chosen it looks like a colored baseball mitt. Anyone know how to tell EMACS to stop messing with the pointer shape and leave it as a simple arrow? I've tried the manual and Googled for it but no luck. Anyone have a .emacs file they really like?
