The OpenOffice.org 1.1 RPMs are now on Rawhide. There were a few threads about this a couple of weeks back where people had some trouble with those RPMs and I didn't see satisfactory resolutions. Here's my experience. (1) Remove the old openoffice, openoffice-libs, and openoffice-i18n RPMs. The new RPMs are named openoffice.org-* instead of openoffice-* so you can't do a refresh or update. Current RPMs require updated redhat-menus RPM. (2) Users need to move their .openoffice directories before running any OOo applications. Failure to do so will cause any OOo application to start by attempting to install user files. Of course, all your old settings will be lost, but I haven't figured out a workaround. (3) After that, it seems to work fine. >From bugzilla reports, these problems should be fixed in the -03 release of these RPMs. -- Matthew Saltzman Clemson University Math Sciences mjs AT clemson DOT edu http://www.math.clemson.edu/~mjs -- Shrike-list mailing list Shrike-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/shrike-list
