>>MS Exchange supports POP3 and IMAP protocol. Just configure it and you will be able to use any MUA >>supporting POP3 or IMAP (including Outlook Express). I did a nmap on the mail-server and pop3 (110) is open. I try to connect to it using telnet xx 110 and get dropped into the cli. I put in USER xxx +OK PASS yyy -invalid user/pass combo right now, I'm logging into the NT domain (domain_name) as user xxx. I've even tried using domain_name\user xxx. No Go. sigh.. Gotta find a way if I am to successfully get my experiment on-line.. (which is grab my mails from exchange using fetchmail, get spamassasin/mailscanner to do filtering and perhaps even put up a web based email-access.) Okay..back to the drawing board. Cheers, .^.
