Sure why not?? If you doubt it man rsync. :-)

Instead of downloading the iso's for severn b3 I just ran rsync over them
and it happily converted them from b2 to b3 only downloading the bits that
changed. For this beta it seemed to be a useful trick. Of course sometimes
the diff's are so great that you do not gain much.
