To check, try $ telnet <exchange server> 143 or # nmap -sT -p 143 <exchange server> This is the result when I did the checking (using the 2 commands): * OK Microsoft Exchange IMAP4rev1 server version 5.5.2653.23 ready And this is the result when i run Pine (using my nt user id and password) using all of the config written in this mail: "unknown user name or bad password" what seem to be my problem? Does Pine have a log file that contains the error so I can check it? > Philip > > > Whenever I use PINE, it ask for the username and password.
