When *you* choose to reinstall instead of repairing the damage, that's your personal preference. Not everyone is familiar with repairing a damaged Linux system. But please don't mislead subscribers by claiming that the suggested fix didn't work. It would have worked. It's just that you may have needed step-by-step examples from someone... as well as patience and interest in learning how to put rescue mode to good effect. - -- Michael, who doesn't reply to top posts and complete quotes anymore. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/hcaz0iMVcrivHFQRAhosAJ9ahvYaYu/bApXL8yLCE9wRGCvdVgCfYqb/ mvQpnDQLxqGUDZniGZUivOY= =Fgju -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- Shrike-list mailing list Shrike-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/shrike-list
