RedHat does a lot of backporting to fix bugs and get new features (or
for whatever their reasons are, I'm just guessing). So their kernel
config files may or may not be compatible with any kernel.org source.

What I normally do if I want a redhat-like kernel is copy the desired
config file to .config, and then run `make oldconfig` over it. This way
you will iron out some of the problems, and get options for anything
they haven't included.
