rob, manfred... thanks All AIX servers in the LAN has NFS server up and running, except the one I was trying to work with ://///. With your comments I had the idea to try rpcinfo -p <server> and voilà! connection refused. Once the NFS server has been started all things goes well. Thanks again, you've saved a precious time !
