Anyone know if redhat has any intention of fixing the gtik applet in RH 8/gnome-applets 2.0.1? Yahoo recently changed the format of the data gtik uses making gtik as it exists in 2.0.1 useless. It is fixed in gnome-applets 2.4.1 but there are too many dependencies for 2.4.1 (it'd be easier to upgrade to 9, which I can't do). I've been led to believe that some of the needed upgrades will break some 3rd part software which is "mission critical" for me (so I can't upgrade). There are enough changes between 2.0.1 and 2.4.1 that I don't think it's feasible to pick out only the ones that are related to the format change. Thanks!
