On starting 'terminal' (console window) it popup

not as satimis@localhost satimis>$
Kindly advise how to fix it
Did you create users "by hand", e.g. not via useradd or the GUI utilities?
Or are these users somewow missing a .bashrc and/or .bash_profile in their home directories?
