rpm -Uvh up2date.yada.yada.yada as suggested by the previous poster.
May also result in some problems. Best is to let rpm figure out the
dependencies.

I would suggest puting both the rpms of up2date and up2date-gnome
in the same directory and then run run the below command as root
and from the same directory obviously.

#rpm -Uvh up2date-*
