YOu are right. It's /lib/modules/`uname -r`

? on the above. Forgive my ignorance but what the *&^% is installed in
/usr/lib/`uname -r` ?

I thought you also had to do rm -rf /lib/modules/`uname -r`

> rm -rf /boot/vmlinuz-`uname -r`
> rm -rf /boot/initrd-`uname -r`
> rm -rf /boot/system.map-`uname -r`
