I'm trying to get Opera 7.11 to render serif-heavy pages (say, Slashdot) in a similar fashion to what Galeon 1.3.9 does. GTK2 Galeon's Font configuration has "serif" selected as the Serif font. I can also select select this font via "Preferences->Font". However, I cannot select this font in Opera; it's not listed as one of the [Xft] fonts available to me and none of the Serif fonts seem to match. Plus, all the other choices of serif font render Slashdot in a really sucky way. All I'd like to know: What's real name of the "Serif" font that gets used in RedHat 9? Maybe if I can find the name of this font, I can shoehorn it into Opera. Thanks for any advice you can give. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
