Hello all, I set up an RH9 machine with DHCP and later switched it to static in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0. BOOTPROTO=none --plus the ip info The interface works fine with the static info. All of this in connection with setting up an internal nameserver. However that hasn't stopped my resolv.conf from being overwritten with the old nameserver information: ;generated by /sbin/dhclient-script search mydomain nameserver the-old-one nameserver another-old-one What else is required to turn off the overwrite by dhclient?
