Are you using cups for printing in RH9?

When I switched from 8 to 9, I decided to go with cups. My windows
machines wouldn't print.

After messing around with samba for a while with no success, I checked
the /var/log/cups/error_log and found the answer to my problem.

In /etc/cups/mime.convs (near end of file) I had to uncomment:

application/octet-stream	application/vnd.cups-raw	0	-

And in /etc/mime.types (near end of file) I had to uncomment:

application/octet-stream

to enable raw print file support.

Don't know if your problem is the same.

Good luck!
