All,
I have a PC with an old TrioS3_64 PCI card.
I've tried to cennect to this card an LCD 15" display monitor: a Relisys
TL535 TFT LCD Panel (1024x768 pixels HF:24-60KHz; VF: 56-75Hz).

Soon after I have installed RedHat9 and this is that happen:
a) Linux recognize the video card
b) Linux doen not recognize the LCD monitor and prompt to me "Unknown Monitor"
to set
c) I have selected in the post-install option list a "Generic Laptop Monitor
1024x768, but the result is that the screen picture area is moded on the
right and the images on video are plit in two with a terrible effect that
makes unusable the system.

How can I do to correct pilot this kind of monitor?
Shoud be a video card problem?
Or is due to the fact that Linux does not recognize the monitor?

Many thanks and regards
Giovanni
