Re: Partition question

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your advice.

I still could not resolve following questions.

1) In my case how could the 5th partition "/dev/hde4" (ext partition) be
created? I did not create it
/dev/hde4 737 1245 4088542+ f Win95 Ext'd (LBA)

2) I suppose "/dev/hde5" being /home partition where "/home"
folder/directory resides

3) Why "/dev/hde4" and "/dev/hde5" starting and ending at the same
cylinder, taking up the same number of cylinders
/dev/hde4 737 1245 4088542+ f Win95 Ext'd (LBA)
/dev/hde5 737 1245 4088511 83 Linux

4) What is the "+" sign indicating in
/dev/hde2 14 78 522112+ 82 Linux swap
/dev/hde4 737 1245 4088542+ f Win95 Ext'd (LBA)

Thanks in advance.
