No.  There is an apt repository which works fairly well:
http://people.ecsc.co.uk/~matt/downloads/apt/redhat-9-i386/RPMS.gnome/

I'm using it at home and have only minor difficulties ;)  I wouldn't
recommend using it anywhere where you have real work to get done.
