hi, /etc/anacrontab and /etc/crontab contain the same jobs : run-parts /etc/cron.daily, weekly and monthly. chkconfig tells me that both cron and anacron services are active do the same jobs are performed twice ? In fact /etc/rc.d/init.d/anacron status gives me : anacron dead but subsys locked no anacron deamon is runnig...
