Hi all, I am trying to update glibc and kernel on out-of-box Red Hat 9. When I try to update them, rpm seg faults: [root@xxxxxxxx prvo]# ls glibc-2.3.2-27.9.i686.rpm glibc-profile-2.3.2-27.9.i386.rpm glibc-common-2.3.2-27.9.i386.rpm glibc-utils-2.3.2-27.9.i386.rpm glibc-debug-2.3.2-27.9.i386.rpm initscripts-7.14-1.i386.rpm glibc-devel-2.3.2-27.9.i386.rpm kernel-bigmem-2.4.20-19.9.i686.rpm [root@xxxxxxxx prvo]# rpm -Uvh * warning: glibc-2.3.2-27.9.i686.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID db42a60e Preparing... Segmentation fault (core dumped) ( 7%) As you see, glibc is i686 which is correct for my box. I tried to rebuild rpm database, without any luck. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance... -- Eng.
