give the pre-release kernel a try.  at worst, it won't work
properly, and you can go back to the 2.4.



Well I'm using my severn box to make avis from vhs tapes etc - and my tv card doesn't seem to want to work all that well in 2.6-test.... but yeah, no harm in trying 2.6 test - my workstation at work is very happy with it (actually 2.6.0-test2-mm2)
