That's going to depend, greatly, on what kind of internet connection you 
have, and any restrictions in place from your AUP.  If you're running on 
cable modem or DSL, and/or yoru AUP states that you may not run your own 
mail server, you might be better relaying, so as not to draw any undue 
attention, or getting yourself into trouble.
