btw, my isp provider provides ppoa protocol (point-2-point) -- is that ok?Typically you get PPPoA (over ATM) and PPPoE (over Ethernet) in the US. All the DSL modems I've seen do both, though I daresay that cheaper ones will do just PPPoE to cater for the US-only market.
