I like qiv for the simple image-viewing tasks that I used to use xv
for.  It also offers a screensaver mode, and accepts images on stdin,
which can be handy for scripting image-viewing pipelines.

While it's not included in any RHL release that I've seen, it's an
easy download and compile from http://www.klografx.net/qiv/
