Close to impossible (though I don't know where you downloaded it --
maybe someone had converted the ISO images to a different format?).

Red Hat releases their online distribution in two forms:
1) ISO images, 2) an FTP/HTTP server directory which contains the
contents of the three CDs to make network installs possible.
Building CDs from the individual files is not trivial.

Look for any mistake at your end. There's nothing wrong with the ISO
images.
