You'll love it. Modify a few config files (after reading a few docs). My first time, it took me 20 minutes to set up a firewall with masquerading, a few ports allowed in, and all the trimmings. Now, even with more complex setups, I average three minutes to get a new Shorewall box configured.

The author is also fantastic with support, continued development, and frequent releases with lots of testing.
