(replying to the original poster WRT burning CD's with the "burn:///" feature:) In any case, I generally use X-CD-Roast, GnomeToaster, G-Combust, or K3B .. even KOnCD ...to erase / burn CD's. The consensus seems to have been that magicdev was more of an annoyance than anything else.
