Yes, definitely.
Actually, that is how I discovered the Burn:///
feature
in the first place. When I inserted the blank in the
drive, it brought up Nautilus with Burn:/// in the
address bar.  I started dragging files there and
then tried to burn it and it started giving some
complaints.  Didn't understand them. That's when I 
started looking for docs.   Still haven't found any.
