Check /var/log/messages, find when such messages appears (system boot, inserting disk, reading disk). Try tail -f /var/log/messages than insert and read disk. Scratched disk may produce these errors.

Is your sound configured properly (proper modules in /etc/modules.conf)? Looks like something trying to access sound devices that didn't configured in your system.
