I just upgraded my kernel and suddenly no sound. Same chipset (intel i810).
I installed ALSA but still only silence.
Any suggestions?

While I could go back to that kernel, I'd prefer not to at this point because of NVidia and VMware stuff I'm doing and going back & forth all the time is a pain.
Anyone have ideas or am I the only one with an Intel i810 sound driver? Just curious...
