I'm think that the WPC11 does work, but not 100% sure. If it is, I'd suspect that the wlan-ng project would have support. I also suspect you'll find linux support for the card if you go to linksys's website.
I'll be damned! The WPC11 (v3, at least) *is* supported without having to download anything extra (ie. wlan-ng) with the latest RH9 kernel. The wlan-ng stuff was required with 7.3 and for some reason I never managed to get that adapter to work when I upgraded to 9. I'm happy to have ditched wlan-ng because I can use redhat-con(fig|trol)-network and the profile feature. I'm not so lazy that I can't just change a couple of config files every time I associate with a new AP, but-- actually, I *am* that lazy. :-P
It looks like the wlan-ng stuff is required to use Kismet and Tim Miller[1] provides RPMs that will work with RH9 (and 8 and 7.3), but I like not having to dicker with another set of dependencies when I upgrade my kernel (alsa's bad enough).
Linksys does have drivers for that card on their site, but that's just a link to an old version of the wlan-ng package.
Hope that helps, B
