This doesn't answer your question but you might try;

Main Menu --> System Settings --> Server Settings --> Samba Server

That one worked for me, though in my specific case I did have to manually edit 
and make one change.  I had to uncomment  "local master = no" (I believe 
that's correctly worded) because one of my winders boxes whined about not 
getting to be master browser.  You may not run into that.
