I think orinoco gold should work fine out of the box.. I've been using 'wavelan silver' for a long time under linux (former incarnation of 'orinoco silver'). The thing I have to do - to get this working (with both RH8.0 & RH9) - is use the older 'wvlan_cs' driver instead of the default 'orinoco_cs' (orinoco_cs driver causes grief with this card - when using https:// - wierd!)
