I set up my linux box as NAT. Everything is working fine with 2.4

Are you using the modconntrack-ftp ?

What is modconntrack-ftp?

I run 'modprobe ip_conntrack_ftp' and 'modprobe ip_nat_ftp' + set up
masquerading (also tried SNAT). All this works with 2.4.20-18.9 kernel, but
not with 2.6.0-test1.

Just to add my $.02 -

This has been a problem in 2.5.x for some time for me - in fact that's the reason our gateway has been running the stock RH kernel rather than 2.5 - the ftp issue. Again, it works perfectly in 2.4, but does not work in 2.5 + for some time; I am fairly sure it was working at one point with 2.5.x though.
