Hi Jared, thanks for the reply,
I am atually using png in the page thats not working...

header ("Content-type: image/png");
$im = imagecreate (300, 300);
$white = imagecolorallocate ($im,255,255,255);
$blue = imagecolorallocate ($im,0,0,255);
?>

<?php
imagestring ($im, 5, 0, 0, "I want this to work!!", $blue);
?>

Even without the second part is still fails!

The gif example i grabbed from somewhere else...
As you can see this one is even simpler and it dont work, something is very fishy here!!!

Certain version of GD won't create .gif images (due to patents, I
think).  Try creating a .png graphic instead.
