I'm building db-4.1.25 (downloaded from Sleepycat Software) into rpm's by borrowing the SPEC file from the Red Hat-packaged db4-4.0.14-20 and modifying that. That's the Red Hat 9 version. Then will install the upgraded db4* stuff on my test machine. That machine is running a 2.5.74 kernel. All a prelude to building the Berkeley dbxml product since db-4.1.25 is a depency for dbxml. Does anyone know what Red Hat packages, if any, upgrading to db-4.1.25 will break? Thanks Bob Cochran
