I use it for our environment w/o any 3rd part repos. I don't always like
using other people's rpms either. It varies.

But I use it b/c we have a lot of systems  at duke, we pay for commodity
internet bandwidth by the gigabyte and we can't afford up2date and/or
the satellite server.
