Just how messy is it to change the boxes hostname after install?
My domain name has changed, and I'ld like my boxes to reflect this.
Pretty easy.
1. Change the HOSTNAME variable in /etc/sysconfig/network 2. Change any references to it in /etc/hosts
Restart networking.
