 ... I beg to disagree, I haven't experienced any such lockups with K3B
(Installed is the rpm for RH 9, BTW). FWIW, I *do* disable magicdev
before running K3B. My only gripe with the program is that it also
locks my DVD drive, so that I have to exit it if I want to mount / unmount
that drive.

... otherwise, I must say that I'm becoming more and more a "fan" of
K3B ... compared to X-CD-Roast, or GnomeToaster.
